Symptoms

  • Check Engine Light
  • Engine stalling
  • Poor performance
  • Intermittent power loss
  • Hard starting

Common Causes

  • Open FP circuit between PCM and FPDM
  • Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) system concern
  • Damaged FPDM
  • Damaged PCM
  • Wiring issue in FP circuit

Diagnostic Steps

  1. Check for ETC DTCs (P2105) β€” diagnose ETC issues first
  2. Test FP circuit between PCM and FPDM for continuity
  3. Inspect wiring for damage or chafing
  4. Test FPDM operation
  5. Check PCM output signal

Repair Notes

Diagnose ETC issues first if present. Repair FP circuit wiring. Replace FPDM if faulty.
